my coursemate and school mate
sonoknya...jumpa member2 masa zmn itm ...eeja yg dah beberapa thn tak jumpa. last jumpa masa 2005 kot. Nor ...sejak ku dok penang dah masuk kali ke 3 ku jumpa dia di penang. Nor ni rajin mai coti2 ke penang...dulu masa dok bangi...tak penah pun jumpa Nor...dah jauh selalu lak jumpa. Eeja dok Sandakan, datang coti2 ke penang. tapi sayang time eeja mai ku sibuk sgt...malam ni je dpt gi jumpa eeja...sedih tak dpt bawa eeja jalan2 cari makan kat penang ni. esok eeja dah nak balik KL lak.

Brownies kukus layer cheese
first time cuba kukus brownies ni. amik resipi kat fp k/rinnchan. rasa dia cam kek coklat je....hehehe. i shd have use square pan...so tak le jadi tebai. ku suka bronis nipis2 je. ku buat ni 3-4 ari lepas kot setelah di sedekan pada kwn2 dan jiran, masih lagi berbaki 1 slice kat dlm esbox...sapa pn tak nak makan kui kuikui...dah jemu ngan coklat2 ni gamaknya. yg masih laku cuma RCV je lani...coz baru lagi kan hehehe.

red velvet cuppies
ini lah my first time bake red velvet cuppies. dah bertahun ingin mencuba...tapi tak begitu bersemangat nak buat coz bila baca resipi tak ada apa yg spesel pun. but still i curious ...napa ramai org dok talk about it mcm spesel sgt???? so ari ni buat lah...still i rasa tak ada apa spesel sgt pun except for the 'red' color. kek ni ku definisi kan sebagai light chocolate cake berwarna merah.
anyway resipi ni memang tak mengecewakan...kek nya begitu lembut dan moist. nak tau apa rasanya...cuba lah buat hehehe.
ini recipe yg ku amik dari website joyofbaking. utk cream cheese frosting ku guna simple resipi. tak ikut yg dia kasi nih.
Red Velvet Cake:
2 1/2 cups (250 grams) sifted cake flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons (15 grams) regular or Dutch-processed cocoa powder
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups (300 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk (i guna satu cawan susu segar + 1 sdb cuka biar 15 minit)
Red Velvet Cake:

1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk (i guna satu cawan susu segar + 1 sdb cuka biar 15 minit)
2 tablespoons liquid red food coloring
1 teaspoon white distilled vinegar
1 teaspoon baking soda
Cream Cheese Frosting:
1 - 8 ounce (227 grams) cream cheese, room temperature
1 - 8 ounce (227 grams) tub of Mascarpone cheese, room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1 cup (115 grams) confectioners' (icing or powdered) sugar, sifted
1 1/2 (360 ml) cups heavy whipping cream
Red Velvet Cake: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and place rack in center of oven. Butter two - 9 inch (23 cm) round cake pans and line the bottoms of the pans with parchment paper. Set aside.
In a mixing bowl sift together the flour, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside.
In bowl of your electric mixer, or with a hand mixer, beat the butter until soft (about 1-2 minutes). Add the sugar and beat until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes). Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Scrape down the sides of the bowl. Add the vanilla extract and beat until combined.
In a measuring cup whisk the buttermilk with the red food coloring. With the mixer on low speed, alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk to the butter mixture, in three additions, beginning and ending with the flour.
In a small cup combine the vinegar and baking soda. Allow the mixture to fizz and then quickly fold into the cake batter.
Working quickly, divide the batter evenly between the two prepared pans and smooth the tops with an offset spatula or the back of a spoon. Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25 - 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cakes comes out clean. Cool the cakes in their pans on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Place a wire rack on top of the cake pan and invert, lifting off the pan. Once the cakes have completely cooled, wrap in plastic and place the cake layers in the refrigerator for at least an hour (or overnight). (This is done to make filling and frosting the cakes easier.)

group visit to war museum
jom layan gambar kami ramai2 gi lawat war museum kat batu maung, penang. not a well planned trip.... cuma ku plan nak lawat tpt ni when my sister and her sons is here....and like a dream came true... been telling irfan, if we go there just 4 of us...sure tak happening punya.
so masa my sister, nieces and nephews datang beraya ari tu...kami sempat le singgah ke war museum. ari tu...dion, anton, mirna, irfan and aiman went to the beach. eli , eva and syairah went to shopping. while myself, k/chik and my hubby stayed at home...makan2 ...goreng cempedak...nyum nyum... dah petang, kami bertiga gi le ke beach tpt anak2 tu mandi manda...lepas everyone was there...kami pun round island...singgah kat butterfly farm, but was not very lucky...dah tutup...round2 kat luar je lah. then singgah kat...waterfall. pastu pusing island sampai balik pulau...then sampai kat batu maung, my hubby kata let's go to war museum...emmm okay lah..
so beli le tiket...RM30 each adults and rm15 children ...11 of us... for me...not bad and we had fun there. rasanya night tour lagi fun dari day tour kot. coz malam ni ada element seram skit kan hehehe... nak tau ke tak...gi le rasa sendiri..night tour kat war museum... and my advise...kalu nak tau lebih detail masa dok tour tempat tu sila le tunggu dan ikut tour guide yg disediakan.

tetamu yg bertandang
ceritanya...tetamu ku adalah kakak ku habibah dan anak2nya Dion and Anton yg datang dari Australia. Dion and Anton tak pernah ke malaysia, and this is their first time. my sis plak her 2nd time balik mesia...sejak dia ke sana in 1974. kali ni balik time raya...so raya ke 3, satu rombongan datang bertandang umah ku...meriah giler umah ku... bukan takat australian nephews je...tapi kakak sulung ku dan suami serta nieces yg kat mesia pun datang juga. sonok giler. chak cuma stay for a night je. nieces ku Eli and her doter, Eva, serta Mirna stayed with us until thursday. puas juga le derang ni jejalan. ku tak ikut sgt derang jalan2 round penang coz ada tetamu dtg beraya. so eli dan mirna le jadi tourist guide. nasib le ada eli ....leh bawa derang. ku ngan k/chik masa derang nak berangkat ke KL

wuish beriya farehah dok ready molot nak suap pasembor gurney drive...anton blur aja tengok depa ni makan. Anton ni tak pandai makan makanan mesia and tak suka mencuba makanan...so aku asyik2 jamu dia roti, pasta, sausages and nugget je. abn dia Dion okay skit rajin mencoba...kari ikan, kari udang, lemak ketam....seme dia makan...
